2014 GLF-CEM Programs

Hosted by the Western Sydney University, Sydney Australia
June 22-24, 2022

Message from the organizing chair

The 2022 Global Leadership Forum for Construction Engineering and Management Programs (GLF-CEM) will be held from Wednesday, June 22 through to Thursday June 23, 2022 in hybrid mode in light of the current ongoing global pandemic. GLF advances construction engineering and management programs by sharing program information, trends, and other timely issues around the world.

This year’s theme is “Creating sustained societal impact through construction engineering management.”

The role of Construction Engineering Management in ensuring a sustainable future has never been greater. In addition to the excellent research advances across the globe, which are creating new trends and benchmarks for future activity, there are other significant elements that play an important role. For example, attracting and retaining the best talent in our sector is critical. Ensuring the mentoring and coaching of young and new academics will ensure sustained academic excellence. The collaboration between academia, industry, government, and other organizations is necessary to address global challenges. Addressing the lack of diversity in our sector has always been our Achilles’ heel. The conference will address how Construction Engineering Management can play an important role in creating sustained societal impact through addressing the aforementioned issues. Global academic and industrial leaders will discuss, debate, and participate in this collaborative conference to come up with new and fresh ideas on how we should be moving forward.

Please plan to attend this webinar if you are an academic or administrator responsible for leading a construction engineering and management program or a practitioner who has an interest in promoting CEM educational practices.
